Portland startup Nutcase Helmets finds its niche: headgear that actually looks cool
The bareheaded hipsters on fixies are right: It’s tough to look cool wearing a bike helmet. After all, helmets were born of prudence. Wearing one doesn’t exactly project a devil-may-care image. Enter Nutcase Helmets, a 5-year-old Portland-based company that’s determined to give the humble helmet an image makeover.
