Purchased for my son of 5 who has a big head (hat size and men) and that everything was a little too large, it quickly became. He loved to all handsets and appears to offer good protection for him. All that could have added the shield and is simply for the "Cool", as my son tells me.

Well done lightweight helmet. Good for BMX. Very comfortable. My comments son who fits better than its more expensive Bell helmet. I just wish that comes with a loop instead of a spring lock and I want to be flat black to hide the scratches. Otherwise, many who try to stay within budget.
